Cushman & Wakefield Closes More Than 1 Million Square Feet in DFW Commercial Real Estate Transactions

DALLAS, June 13, 2017 – Brokers in the Dallas office of Cushman & Wakefield recently negotiated the following commercial real estate leases and sales across North Texas:
 
OFFICE LEASES

    • Signature Exchange

      Yardi Systems leased 54,646 square feet in Freeport Office at 8616 Freeport Pkwy. In Irving. John Fancher and Rodney Helm with Cushman & Wakefield represented the landlord, UBS Realty. Yardi Systems also renewed and expanded its lease for a total of 36,017 square feet in Signature Exchange at 14755 Preston Road in Dallas. Fancher, Doug Jones, Chris Taylor, and Johnny Johnson with Cushman & Wakefield represented the landlord in that deal. The tenant was represented in both transactions by Mike Kay of CBRE.

    • Sun Holdings signed a new sublease for 24,713 square feet at 4055 Valley View Lane in Dallas. Robbie Baty and Charlie Beck of Cushman & Wakefield represented the tenant in the transaction. Tyler Maner and Tim Terrell of Stream Realty Partners represented the sublandlord, Intrepid USA.

Urban Towers

Mimecasts North America leased 16,652 square feet in Urban Towers at 222 W. Las Colinas Blvd. in Irving. Dan Harris of Cushman & Wakefield represented the tenant. John Fancher and Matt Schendle, also of Cushman & Wakefield, represented the landlord, Parallel Capital.

  • Oportun leased 16,182 square feet at Hall Office Park in Frisco. Travis Boothe, Randy Cooper, and Craig Wilson of Cushman & Wakefield represented the tenant in the deal. Kim Butler and Brad Gibson were the in-house leasing agents for the landlord, Hall Group.
  • Granbury Solutions subleased 15,936 square feet in Royal Tech at 8150 Springwood in Irving. Robbie Baty and Cribb Altman with Cushman & Wakefield represented the tenant. The sublessor, Holly Energy Partners, was represented by Barrett Jones, Mike Wyatt, and Bill McClung, also with Cushman & Wakefield.
  • Guardian Consumer leased 13,895 square feet in Parkway Centre at 2901 N. Dallas Pkwy. in Plano. Dan Harris and Alex Beacham of Cushman & Wakefield represented the tenant. Trey Smith, Lauren Napper, and Ward Eastman, also of Cushman & Wakefield represented the landlord, SunLife Assurance.
  • Multiplan Inc. added 12,355 square feet to its lease at Urban Towers, bringing the total to 38,627 square feet. Matt Schendle and John Fancher of Cushman & Wakefield represented the property owner. The tenant was represented by Robert Blount of CBRE.
  • Biznet Software Inc. renewed its lease for 11,122 square feet in Signature Exchange at 14785 Preston Road in Dallas. Johnny Johnson, Chris Taylor, John Fancher, and Doug Jones with Cushman & Wakefield represented the landlord. The tenant was represented by John Roper of CBRE.
  • Transwestern Investment Group leased 7,542 square feet at 8235 Douglas Ave. in Dallas. Lauren Napper and Trey Smith with Cushman & Wakefield represented the property owner, and the tenant was self-represented.
  • Preston Park Financial Center

    Cowles Thompson leased 5,348 square feet in Preston Park Financial Center at 4965 Preston Park in Plano. The tenant was represented by John Beach of Jackson Cooksey. Rodney Helm and Clint Madison of Cushman & Wakefield represented the landlord.

  • Virginia Cook Realtors renewed its lease for 5,186 square feet at 5950 Sherry Lane in Dallas. The landlord, Tier REIT, was represented by Lauren Napper and Rodney Helm of Cushman & Wakefield, and the tenant was self-represented.

    INDUSTRIAL LEASES
     

    • S&S Activewear leased 492,322 square feet at 35/20 @ Mercantile in Fort Worth. The company was represented by Mark Collins and Dean Collins in the Dallas office of Cushman & Wakefield, along with Britt Casey in the firm’s Chicago office. Trey Fricke, Reid Bassinger, and Becky Thompson of Lee & Associates represented the developer, Hunt Southwest.
    • Wizards of the Coast leased 123,864 square feet at 925 W. N. Carrier Pkwy. in Grand Prairie. The tenant was represented by Blake Anderson and David Eseke in the Dallas office Cushman & Wakefield, along with Michael Dalton and Deborah Howerton in the firm’s Boston office. Mark Graybill and Colton Rhodes of Lee & Associates represented the landlord, GLP.
    • ABC Supply leased 87,780 square feet at 2660 Market St. in Garland. The tenant was represented by Mark Collins, Dean Collins, and Karen Decker of Cushman & Wakefield. The landlord, Herzstein Investments Inc., was represented by Conrad Bernard of Boyd Commercial.
    • Quality Custom Distribution Services Inc. leased 54,497 square feet in DalParc I-20 Bldg 2, at 3900 N Dallas Avenue in Lancaster. Shannon Johnston, Mark Collins and Dean Collins represented the tenant in the deal. The landlord, DalParc I-20 Logistics, was represented by Chris McCluskey of VanTrust Real Estate and Nathan Lawrence of CBRE.
    • Spring Lighting Group leased 40,760 square feet in Park West Crossing, at 501 Southwestern in Coppell. Gary Collett and Shannon Johnston represented the tenant in the deal. The landlord, ML Realty Partners, was represented by Jeremy Kelly of Stream Realty Partners.
    • Pirch leased 30,000 square feet at 4531 Simonton Road in Farmers Branch. The tenant was represented by Blake Anderson and David Eseke in the Dallas office of Cushman & Wakefield, along with Tom Van Betten in the firm’s San Diego office. Andrew Gilbert with Holt Lunsford Commercial represented the landlord.

     
    COMMERCIAL PROPERTY SALES

    • ABC Supply acquired a 60,000-square-foot building on 4.85 acres of land at 1075 NW John Jones Drive in Burleson. Mark Collins, Dean Collins, and Karen Decker of Cushman & Wakefield represented the buyer in negotiations with the seller, Birdwell Cleaning Products Inc.
