Cushman & Wakefield Represents The Delta Companies in New HQ Lease at Cypress Waters

DALLAS, Aug. 2 –The Delta Companies is moving its headquarters to CypressWaters, a 1,000-acre Billingsley Co. project that spans the cities of Dallas, Coppell, and Irving. The leading physician and healthcare staffing firm will occupy 38,000 square feet in a new 250,000-square-foot, five-story building located on North Lake, next to Brinker International’s new headquarters and overlooking the development’s centerpiece, a lakefront retail spot called The Sound.

“This state-of-the-art building provides us with access to best-in-class technology, including video and teleconferencing capabilities for more productive client and candidate interactions,” said Bill Tracewell, CEO,

The Delta Companies. “The open floor plan design gives us flexibility for expected future growth. As for the location—it can’t be beat. Proximity to DFW International Airport gives our team easier and more convenient access to client visits around the nation.”

The new Cypress Waters building is currently under construction. The Delta Companies plans to move into the space when it opens in July 2018.

The company was represented in its search and lease negotiations by Steve Wentz, Randy Cooper, and Wills Bauer of Cushman Wakefield.  “As is becoming the norm for companies focused on delivering a quality live-work-play scenario for their valued workforce, The Delta Companies made that directive No. 1 in the site selection process,” said Wentz, Director. “Cypress Waters certainly fits that bill.”

The Delta Companies will be the first tenant in Billingsley’s Co.’s first lakeside office building at Cypress Waters, said Marijke Lantz, SVP, Investments and Build to Suits. “Recruiting and retention is a hot button for many companies in Dallas, and being across the street from lakefront retail and the trails around the lake is an amenity not many companies in Dallas can match. Not to mention the incredible views they will have of the water from the fifth floor. Their employees will be very happy here.”

Lucy Burns, Partner, Billingsley, added, “The entire lake edge is currently under construction. By the middle of next year, it will be bustling with residents, office tenants, and locals enjoying all the restaurants, events and amenities we’ve planned on the water.”
