After more than 13 years in its current location, E4D Technologies, which designs and manufactures high-tech medical devices, is relocating to a new facility in Richardson. The company has signed a lease for a 42,362-square-foot build-to-suit building in Parc Northeast at 2920 Telecom Pkwy.
E4D Technologies previously occupied three buildings on International Parkway in Richardson. The move to Parc Northeast, a new Class A core industrial development off of President George Bush Turnpike and Telecom Parkway, will allow the company to consolidate into a single building. The move also will provide E4D Technologies with a newer, more efficient space.
“After spending more than 13 years segmented in three buildings, E4D will be consolidating operations into a new state-of-the-art facility in June. The new building will help showcase their latest technologies and techniques to their customers in a much more efficient layout,” said Cribb Altman, Senior Director at Cushman & Wakefield. He and Cushman & Wakefield colleagues Mike Wyatt, Executive Managing Director, and Charlie Beck, Director, represented the tenant in their property search and lease.
“After a wide and exhaustive search of the market, E4D decided to double down on Richardson, where the company was born,” Beck said. “This new facility will serve them well for many years to come and provide a great environment for their employees.”
“As E4D begins its next chapter, having a space that is conducive to collaboration and that will allow for accelerated speed to market was critical,” said Brett Hetherington, Senior Director of Finance at E4D. “This new space will allow E4D to consolidate into one building, creating an open and inviting work space that will carry the company into the future.”
The landlord for Parc Northeast, Jackson-Shaw, was represented in the lease by Josh Barnes of Holt Lunsford Commercial. Page will be the architect for the new property, and Cushman & Wakefield has been selected to handle construction management.
